ROCKFORD, IL – Rockford attorney and community advocate Dan Lewandowski will be announcing his intent to run for mayor in the Democratic primary election held on February 23, 2027. Lewandowski’s education in public administration and diverse leadership experience will bring the community together using new ideas to get better results. “Rockford faces critical times and a budget crisis. It’s time to turn the corner and stop repeating the mistakes of the past. No more passing the buck and kicking the can down the road. We must act now and make the tough decisions together for a better Rockford. I strongly believe I have the management skills necessary to bring Rockford through these tough times,” says Lewandowski.
